Mini Rant

I am so inconsistent with this, am I not? Oh well. Here comes another rant.

I think being the best at something is actually more of a curse than it is an honor. It seems the better you are at something, the less opportunity you have to have a bad day. Not only that, but the underdog is always being rooted for to succeed, leaving the only person to cheer the best of the best is the person themselves. Furthermore, anytime that a person continues to have success, it is just another day for them, without praise nor congratulations on a job well done, and yet, with one simple failure, the world crashes down on them for already being better at something than everyone else to begin with. It seems that today, unfortunately, a lot of people are not okay with the idea that someone can be better than them at something and instead of nurturing a talent further along, we try to stunt it from becoming any better.

Mini-rant over.
